Based in Tulsa, OK, our adaptive gaming platform for education delivers industry-standard e-learning content(both assessments and instructional materials) that cater to each learner’s specific academic levels and needs. Today, our technology is used to successfully create an engaging and effective setting for students to learn, advance, and excel in K-6 math.

We are looking to add a Ruby on Rails Developer to our dynamic team responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our teacher, parent, and administrator web applications. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

Position/Title: Ruby on Rails Developer

Start Date: Immediately

Work Hours: Full-Time


  • Designing and developing new web applications.
  • Maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting existing web applications.
  • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
  • Integrating data storage solutions.
  • Creating back-end components.
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
  • Connecting applications with additional web servers.
  • Maintaining APIs.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails is a must
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
  • Familiarity with Rake, Bundler
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and JQuery
  • Familiarity with testing tools
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with deployment and web server configurations
  • Experience with AKKA is a plus
