Mysterious Moonlight: New Ways to Build Classroom Community

Fall is when classroom routines settle in, and keeping students excited about practice gets a little harder. Boddle's new Mysterious Moonlight update is here to help. Alongside a cozy, lantern-lit autumn theme and two powerful new pets, this update introduces two features built with your classroom in mind: Class Club, which turns practice into a team effort, and Achievements, which reward students for steady, long-term learning.

Here's what's new and how it can support your students this season.

🤝 Class Club: Your Whole Class, Working Toward One Goal

Class Club is a brand-new shared experience designed to build camaraderie in your classroom. Instead of practicing only for their own rewards, students now contribute to a goal the whole class shares.

  • No extra setup for you: Students join using the same class code you already use today
  • Practice drives progress: Every question students answer and every quest they complete earns Class XP for the whole class
  • Shared rewards: As your class earns XP, it levels up on a Class Pass reward track with up to 100 levels and a reward at every level. Each reward can be collected once per student
  • Works across classes: Students in more than one class contribute to all of their classes at once
  • Hall of Fame: A class leaderboard shows how your class is doing
  • Your settings still apply: If you've locked leaderboards for a class in your teacher dashboard, that lock carries over to Class Club

Students will find Class Club on the main menu, where the Challenges button used to be. Challenges is still available elsewhere in the game.

🏆 Achievements: Rewarding Consistent Practice

Achievements give students clear, long-term milestones to work toward, which encourages the steady practice habits that lead to real growth.

  • Students earn tiered rewards (up to 5 levels each) across academics, daily habits, Pet Battles, Boddle Racers, and the Arcade
  • A new My Skills tab (formerly Progress) shows students what they've mastered and what's next, so they can see their own growth
  • Every student sees the same achievement list. Nothing is premium-only, so every student in your class has the same goals to chase

🏮 A Cozy Fall Theme Students Will Love

The new Mysterious Moonlight Boddle Pass brings a moonlit garden look to the game, with lanterns, maple trees, and new seasonal rewards. It arrives in two parts, with Part 1 running through November 3. Students can unlock:

  • 5 new furniture pieces, including lanterns, a maple tree, and a snack stand
  • 2 new seasonal outfit sets
  • 2 new collectible stickers

🐾 Two New Pets to Motivate Your Students

New pets are one of the biggest reasons students log back in, and this update brings two:

  • ChiliCoco (Part 1): A ramen-inspired Legendary Fire pet that powers up its teammates in battle
  • StormYeeti (Part 2): A Mythic Electric pet, the rarest tier in the game, that steals attack power from opponents

💡 Ideas for Your Classroom

  • Set a class goal: Challenge your class to reach a certain Class Pass level by a set date, and celebrate together when you get there
  • Share progress during morning meeting: A quick look at your class's level is an easy way to recognize effort and build excitement
  • Encourage personal goals: Have students pick one academic Achievement to work toward this month
  • Use it for teamwork talks: Class Club is a natural way to talk about how everyone's effort adds up

✨ Smoother Gameplay

We've also fixed bugs and polished the game for a more stable experience, so students spend less time troubleshooting and more time learning.

🌙 Bring the Magic to Your Classroom

Mysterious Moonlight gives your students new reasons to practice and a new way to succeed together as a class. It's a great time to introduce Class Club and set your first class goal of the year.
